This year, over 100 women participated in both individual and corporate team build days that took place from April to July.

Volunteers were there rain or shine. (And there was a lot of rain!) They did everything from framing, to insulation, to window installation! Many new skills were learned and new friends were made!

Originally, our goal was to raise $25,000. But after just a few volunteer days, this incredible group of volunteers proved that wasn’t nearly high enough. In the end, we raised over $39,000 to help build and repair affordable homes in Greater Portland. (Shout out to top fundraiser, Jean Smith!)

We can’t wait to invite our Women Builders to home dedications this winter so they can see what they helped accomplish for two families in South Portland!
