Paul Lones

Thomas Pond Consulting

A graduate of MIT(SBME) and USM (MS Adult Ed), Paul has extensive experience in engineering, operations, supply chain, human resources and information technology in competitive global organizations. He has served in a variety of engineering and management roles at Fairchild and National Semiconductor. Currently, he is a management consultant with a particular interest in the intersection between business strategy, technology and organizational development to identify unique opportunities for significant performance improvement. 

Paul is a construction volunteer and board member for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland, currently serving as chair of the Governance Committee. Previous non-profit experience includes serving on the Mercy Hospital Board of Trustees, with 2 years as board chair. He was also a founding board member and President of Skyline Farm, a historic preservation organization in North Yarmouth, a board member for United Way of Greater Portland, and Family Activities Chair and trip leader for the Maine Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club.

Justin St. John

Greenbacker Capital

Justin is a manager at Baker Newman Noyes and is a member of the firm’s transaction advisory services practice. Justin has been with the firm since 2015 and has a background in assurance after leading commercial, health care, and employee benefit plan financial statement audit teams for several years. As a member of the firm’s transaction advisory services practice, Justin works closely with private equity and search fund companies to provide financial due diligence and transaction support services.

In addition to serving clients, Justin is a member of BNN’s training and recruitment committees. Outside of the office, he’s an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys camping, skiing, and golfing.

Justin earned his bachelor’s degrees, summa cum laude, in accounting and finance from the University of Maine. He also holds Certificates in Blockchain Fundamentals for Accounting and Finance Professionals and Cybersecurity Fundamentals for Finance from the AICPA.

Laurel LaBauve

SoPo Cottage

Laurel is a mechanical engineer who spent 30 years with a specialty in streamlining troubled manufacturing organizations, at companies like Honeywell, Johnson & Johnson and Merck.  She and her husband came to Maine almost 20 years ago, when she ran the IDEXX manufacturing and operations organization.  They quickly discovered that Maine truly is the way life should be!  

In 2011 she left the corporate world to start an encore career and started a small company – SoPo Cottage LLC - renovating tired old houses. Since then, she’s renovated 19 houses, working hands-on with a talented group of tradesmen.  She’s been on the Board of South Portland/Cape Elizabeth Buy Local and is currently Board VP for the South Portland Food Cupboard.

Sarah Correia

MaineHealth

Sarah is a Program Manager with MaineHealth’s Access to Care Department supervising a team of Medical Outreach Case Managers who help patients navigate the complex web of social safety net programs.  She has been with MaineHealth for more than 10 years and is dedicated to the goal of comprehensive and affordable healthcare for all. Sarah graduated summa cum laude from Smith College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Throughout her career, she has provided case management services in a variety of settings including a psychiatric crisis unit and mental health community clinic. Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, trail running, and travel to Portugal.

Nicole DiGeronimo

Avesta Housing

Nicole DiGeronimo is the director of the HomeOwnership Center (HOC) at Avesta Housing. In addition to running the HOC, Nicole evaluates homeowners’ eligibility for loss mitigation options and other alternatives to avert foreclosure. As part of the Maine Foreclosure Diversion Program, she also attends mediations with borrowers to advocate for their position and assist them in understanding their legal options.

Previous roles at the HOC include foreclosure prevention housing counselor and services manager. Prior to joining Avesta, Nicole served as director of marketing and compliance at a financial management company in Portland, Maine. She was also a legislative aide for the Maine House Democratic Office and a paralegal for several local law firms. Nicole graduated with a Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law and a BA in political science from St. Anselm College. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Maine.

Tom Hall

Town of Scarborough

Tom has served as the Town Manager in Scarborough since 2008. He has held positions in town and city management in Pennsylvania and Maine including nine years as the City Manager in Rockland prior to his current role. During his time in municipal management Tom has developed a keen interest in affordable and workforce housing and currently serves as the staff support to the Scarborough Housing Alliance.  Accomplishments while in Scarborough include successfully implementing six different affordable housing projects with private developers and partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland on Carpenter Court. Tom has been honored by the Maine Town & City Management Association with their Leadership Award in 2011.  He serves on GPCOG’s Metro Regional Coalition as well as on the Board of Directors of the Maine Town & City Management Association.  He is a past President of Rotary (Rockland) and is a Paul Harris Fellow. Tom had the good fortune of being raised in Presque Isle, and he’s proud to call himself a County Boy. He received his BA in Public Administration from the University of Maine at Orono and a Masters of Public Administration from Penn State University. Tom is married to Kerry Hall, a seasoned real estate Broker, and the proud father to two children, Brendan who graduated from Providence College and works in affordable housing in Boston and Emma, a graduate of Quinnipiac University, who works locally as a Registered Nurse.

Linda Halleran

Town & Country Fed. Credit Union

Linda brings extensive experience in the areas of marketing, communications, and community outreach to the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland Board. In her current role as Community Engagement Manager for Town & Country Federal Credit Union, Linda is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that connect the credit union to the broader community by building partnerships and collaborations with non-profit organizations and facilitating Town & Country’s charitable giving, sponsorship, and volunteering programs. In addition, she oversees the credit union’s financial wellness programs and initiatives. An avid walker and jigsaw puzzler, Linda lives in Yarmouth and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Mark Hopkins

Hancock Lumber

Mark Hopkins is the COO of Hancock Lumber Company in Maine. Mark is responsible for Hancock’s retail division, which includes a network of lumberyards and design showrooms, as well as wall panel and truss manufacturing operations. Mark brings over 26 years of experience working at Hancock Lumber, covering everything from counter sales to Account Management, General Manager and Sales Manager. Mark’s enthusiasm, drive and commitment to excellence truly set him apart. Mark’s favorite part of his job is the people and being connected to all the employees, contractors, and vendors, helping to build lasting relationships that the 174-year-old company is known for.

Donna Lamberth

Community Volunteer

Donna is retired from her most recent role as Director of Manufacturing, L.L. Bean. Her career includes professional experience across industries including Retail, Insurance, Technology, and Media. She worked over 25 years in Information Technology and was known for building strong teams, positively impacting employee engagement, and leading transformational change. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Multidisciplinary Studies from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, and an MBA from the University of Southern Maine. Past board experience includes Jobs for Maine Graduates and the USM Business Advisory Council.

Logan Rohrbaugh

Stone Coast Fund Services

Logan currently is a Group Manager within Stone Coast Fund Services’ Investor Services department where he leads a team conducting administrative duties for their hedge fund clients. Prior to joining Stone Coast, Logan served as a Lieutenant in the Marine Corps and worked as a sales executive for global technology companies based out of Austin, Texas. Logan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Outside of his managerial duties, he is proud to serve as a member of Stone Coast’s Community Engagement Team, whose mission is to empower employees and foster civic engagement in our local communities. Logan lives in Portland and outside of work can be found pursuing various athletic endeavors out in the mountains or up the coast.
