Applications are now available for homeownership in Standish. These homes are:

• brand new and energy-efficient
• 2 to 3 bedrooms, 1-1.5 baths
• approximately a 1 acre lot

Act fast! Completed applications will be accepted until Wednesday, February 19 at 4 PM!

1. Obtain an application: Applications for Standish are available now and due February 19 at 4 PM.
2. Primary Review: Habitat staff will review your application to ensure it is complete and that you meet our income requirements.
3. Applications Reviewed by Bank: Applications are reviewed by the bank for financial readiness. During this time, the bank will reach out to you to request additional documents like pay stubs and tax returns.
   Depending on the number of applications received, this part of the process can take a few weeks.
   The bank will recommend applicants who can monthly mortgage payment.
4. Interviews: Applicants approved by the bank will be reviewed by our Family Services Committee. Those selected to move forward will meet with staff and committee members.  This may be followed by a home visit with your family to see your living conditions.
5. Selection: Two applicants will then be chosen after deliberation from Habitat staff and volunteers. You will be notified if you were not selected. Those who were not selected are welcome to apply for the next round of homeownership.

• Request a mailed application by filling out the form below. Applications are mailed within 2 business days of your request but will not be mailed past February 11.
